Experience and Training
Ian is interested in working with individuals, couples and families. His traineeships at Water of Life Church in Fontana and Azusa Pacific University’s Community Counseling Center gave him experience working with married couples, individuals, and children. He has also worked at the Leroy Haynes Center, tutoring and conducting discussion forums for troubled youths. Ian has attended several training seminars and conferences to supplement his education and psychotherapeutic practice. Along with a team of colleagues, he conducted a seminar on stress and anxiety for Stepping Stones for Women; an organization dedicated to the helping victims of domestic violence. Ian wishes to continue this type of community outreach in Chino Hills and the surrounding areas in addition to serving those who walk through the doors of Stay Designated, Inc.
Ian is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
My passion for counseling through psychotherapy was born from the plain and simple observation that people need help sometimes. Whether the troubles they face is the result of their own doing or misfortune has struck them at a critical point in their life, or both; I wish to be an agent of positive change. I take a holistic approach to therapy, fully cognizant that the majority of life happens outside of the therapy room. This is why I incorporate, if available and with client permission, information from physicians and mentors. It is also the reason why I encourage my clients to reach out to the people they find give meaning and encouragement to their lives.
Please email me or call Stay Designated Inc. if I can answer any questions for you. It would be a blessing to work with you.Contact: email@example.com
